Vizion Wealth Chartered IFA Milton Keynes Retirment Planning

Retirement Planning

Advising on final salary and defined benefit pension transfers is a highly specialised, complex and regulated area of financial advice. At Vizion Wealth we work together with clients from all over the UK, our advisers are pension transfer specialists meaning they have the highest possible qualifications in understanding pensions and the pros and cons of transferring. If you have a final salary or defined benefit pension, we will arrange a review of your scheme. We work with an external agency to undertake this review, so you can be certain that we are acting completely impartially. If the recommendation is to transfer your pension, our pension transfer specialists will then assist with implementing the recommendations and ensuring the funds are managed appropriately on an ongoing basis.

"The question sometimes is not at what age you want to retire, but at what income"

As we continue to live longer, it’s vitally important that we have retirement funds that will last significantly longer than ever before. Regardless of when you intend to retire, if you do not start planning for it now, there is a real danger that you could outlive your savings.

At Vizion Wealth, we work together with clients from our head office in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes to truly understand their retirement priorities, goals and aspirations for themselves and their family and take a proactive approach in developing a long-term achievable plan which is regularly reviewed. This includes clients funding for retirement, moving into retirement or those clients already retired.

Whether using Personal Pension Plans, Work Pensions, Final Salary or Defined Benefit Pensions, Pension Annuities or savings such as ISAs, Bonds, Shares, Investment Funds, Property, Trusts or Cash Deposits to fund your retirement the responsibility is now on the individual to accrue a large enough savings pot with which to fund retirement.

With UK pensions freedom legislation being enacted in 2015, pensions have now become one of the most tax efficient and flexible ways in saving for and funding retirement although with a complex array of legislation changes and retirement planning products available, it is more important than ever to seek professional and independent advice to ensure you make the right decisions for your future. We now have far more flexibility to use the ‘pension rules’ to your advantage and your family and really make the most of your money.

As Chartered Independent Financial advisers, we are able to offer a full range of retirement planning advice including:

  • Tax planning and retirement funding advice for individuals, executives and business owners
  •  Salary Sacrifice
  • Pension Consolidation & Transfers
  • Personal Pensions
  • Analysis of Final Salary and Defined Benefit Pensions

What’s important to remember, it’s never too early – or too late – to think about your retirement and to seek solid financial advice to achieve your retirement goals. For many people, the savings that are accumulated during their working lives are directed at helping them to become financially secure in retirement. But, too often, some people continue to save without a clear view of how much money they will need to live the life they desire for the entirety of their retirement. This can create uncertainty around when they can retire in alignment with their financial goals, uncertainty that we are here to remove.

Start planning for your future, today.

Retirement planning is a long-term commitment, so it’s essential to incorporate regular reviews of your arrangements to make sure that they remain on track and are meeting your needs.

To find out more or to discuss with a highly qualified financial adviser on how to maximise your retirement opportunities, please contact us on 01908 920043.

A pension is a long-term investment not normally accessible until 55 (57 from April 2028). The value of your investments (and any income from them) can go down as well as up, which would have an impact on the level of pension benefits available.
